12/07/2022-Colleen reach out to request our assistant to fill a Research Program Assistant position with GU. This position is expected to last about 3 months but could become permeate. The shift is day 8:00am-5:00pm, wage is $24/$34.08. Candidates are required to complete a background check and drug test.

Job Description
Job Purpose:
The position develops and maintains strong professional relationships and works collaboratively with a variety of internal and external stakeholders. The Research Program assistant will help to coordinate and create assessment reports.
Duties & Responsibilities
Computer and Tech Proficiency
- Performs a wide range of complex administrative duties requiring independent judgement and initiative on assignments that are sensitive in nature
- Perform complex word processing tasks such as merging and sorting, integrating text and graphics, and helping to generate direct mailings, forms, fliers and other documents
- Very comfortable using a variety of technologies and software including Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, etc.
Written and Verbal Communications
- Creates word documents and PowerPoints that summarize data and reports
- Email communications and Phone Conversations
Minimum Qualifications:
• HS diploma or GED with experience working in an office environment or equivalent
• Microsoft Word skills to include the ability to create reports, containing graphs and other intermediate functions (e.g. perform a mail merge, insert a table of contents)
• Microsoft Excel skills to include the ability to create spreadsheets (e.g., formulas such as V-lookup, graphs, pivot tables)
• Microsoft Outlook skills to include the ability to create calendar invitations and maintain shared calendars
• Ability and disposition to learn new computer programs as they emerge • Maintain composure in fast-paced work environment
• Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities with frequent interruptions
• Demonstrated ability to operate with a high level of confidentiality and discretion
• Demonstrated ability to accurately input data into various systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary to communicate intricate job-related processes to internal and external customers
