Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Manufacturing experience (assembly line, production of goods) desired.
Ability to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages & ratios; basic computer skills needed. Good handwriting required.
Physical Requirements: Lift 70 lbs. unassisted, 14/14 corrected near-point vision, must pass a color deficiency test, exposure to allergens, working in aseptic areas, working in confined spaces, prolonged standing, and exposure to latex.
Day in the life:
- De-casing – Removing bags of materials from the outer box and wiping them down to disinfect the packaging for transfer into the filling line.
- Compounding – Compounding technicians will clean the tanks, stage equipment for the next production batch, and perform basic compounds.
- Cleaning - involves Personal Protective Equipment: Long gloves, apron, and face shield. Water temp is 80C) - Training provided.
