MDM CONSTRUCTION:    Payroll / HR Clerk: 

JO: Tami Jones with MDM Construction - Sister company to Conmat seeking a someone to help out doing Payroll and some HR backup. They have not determined yet as to what the majority of the work load will be at this time, but they need to get the process going and start interviewing as soon as possible.
The position is full time-contract to hire. Would like someone who has some knowledge/experience in in Data Entry and normal inter-office skills and duties. They should be a team player and be able to work closely with the others in the office with a friendly attitude. Of course any experience in A/P and payroll is very helpful.

Work Schedule:
Day shift Mon- Fri  8:00 to 5:00 or 9:00 to 5:00
$20.00 to $25.00 DOE
CTH - declined to go with DH

AVERAGE DAY:
Employee will be processing Accounts Payable and Payroll. They currently have a variety of jobs both public and private, including prevailing wage, so want a person with experience/knowledge of working in a construction environment. Would like  to have some kind of construction world experience.   Using Viewpoint which is a construction based software program. Need strong computer skills and some kind of construction accounting software knowledge. Most of the duties will be maintaining vendor accounts, processing and entering invoices, reconciliation of statements, correct and document discrepancies and resolutions, issue payments, maintain files and documentation, perform Receptionist duties as needed, maintain spreadsheets for inter office reporting and responding to vendor inquiries. Assist in other projects as well, entering and processing payroll and related duties. “Experience is very helpful.” The HR side will be filing Employee Benefits and working with employees on what benefits they can get during enrollment. 
Responsibilities include, input and process Weekly Payroll, Certified Payroll Reports for Prevailing Wage Projects, Human Resources, assist in other administrative areas as needed. Must be able to multitask, detailed, well organized, timely, interact with others in a professional manner, work independently and with a team.  Must be proficient in Word, Excel and 10 Key.
