Average Day:
1. NEW BUILD - OVEN PLASMA/REBOOT/STACKERS:
A. When they first come in, employee will get their Work Order. They will check to see what the build will be, and then get the parts that they will be needing for the build. They will then put the parts on a tray (flat piece of metal) stacked side by side. Once the tray is full, they will put the tray into a chamber that will absorb any moisture. Once the process is done, they will move the tray to the next work station
B. Next area will be the Silicon area. Here they will move the finished metal plates to have a shield placed around them. They will place the plate on the machine that has a robot place silicon in specific areas of the plate. Next process is to make sure that the plastic cover is aligned properly.
** This area has a process that will require lots of arm strength to push a hand tool that has a heavy torque. Best for guys, maybe not for girls (You didn't hear me say this).
C. Finished products will then be tested to make sure there are not any leaks by using an air gun.
Requirements:
1. Lift - 40 lbs
2. Stand/Sit - 50/50 Depending what area of the work station they are in.
3. Follow directions

2. CONDITIONERS:
A. This is a completed box (Fuel Cell) that will be placed in a testing chamber (waist high) . They need to make sure that they align the unit with the contact pins in the back of the chamber to get the best testing results. Before placing the unit into the chamber, they will scan the unit and the work order to match the product information and log the testing. This testing process checks the voltage of the unit. If something is off, the testing unit will automatically shut down. On a regular day, they will test 80 to 90 units. When at full capacity this room will be very warm. They do have fans, but still warm.
Requirements:
1. Lift - 40 lbs
2. Stand - 100%
3. Follow directions

3. TEAR DOWN & RE MAN (RE MANUFACTURER)
A. This area is where all returns are taken apart and either refurbished or trashed for recycling. Employees in this area will be wearing sleeves due to possible allergic reaction to the carbon fiber dust that can irritate the skin. ( No concern with breathing it in). They will completely disassemble a fuel cell, and inspect each piece taken off. They will inspect for corrosion, wear and tear etc. They have bins where they will be instructed to either dispose or recycle. They will be using small torque drills to take the units apart.
B. Recycled or good products will then be restacked and retested. They will recycle the good units, and repackage them or store them.
Requirements:
