Shift: :

Skills Required:
- 1yr + manufacturing exp (may consider less). Experience not necessary; a good track record would be a huge plus.
- Intermediate reading, writing, math and computer skills.
- Good manual dexterity to use hand tools (vices, drills, hammers etc).
- High School Diploma or GED
- Attention to detail
- Reliable
- Experience with CNC machining is a nice to have, but not essential - even if through SCC studies.
Average Day:
In addition to monitoring and operating an injection mold machine or CNC machine, each employee will be responsible for first reading and adhering to a very basic product blueprints. The blueprint outlines the specifications for each unit assembled and produced as well as common flaws which need to be caught. Operators will be performing highly repetitive tasks focusing on minimizing wasted motions. Will be inspecting, preparing and packaging units as they are completed, so attention to detail is a must. Each employee will be performing these tasks per Altek’s policies and procedures while maintaining tight tolerances and focusing on safety, cost and quality. Must be able to track basic measurements (Weight, units and time) on a work order form and then input these into computer at the end of every shift. This position requires a level of quality control and efficiency.
