Description: 
Office Management- This is a contract position with with possibility of being hired. The client post all of their open position to the community and our candidate is able to apply if they are interested. The position is Monday-Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm. The wage for the position is $22.50/$31.95.

Minimum Requirements
  • Three years office management experience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, email and other office and internet productivity applications.
  • Strong organization and customer service skills including attention to detail and and to handle competing priorities with frequent interruptions.
  • Ability to work with limited supervision and exercise good judgment, including maintaining a high degree of confidentiality.



Job Description
  • Manage the Dean’s calendar through the coordination of meetings/activities requiring the Dean’s involvement with university departments/committees. These duties may include planning and arranging specific meeting rooms, food and beverage as well as preparing and distributing meeting materials.
  • Processes department expense reports and travel arrangements in Concur.
  • Maintain accurate records including keeping minutes, reports, and action items from all meetings.
  • Tracks all incoming and out-going requests for SEAS units ensuring completion within documented timelines.
  • Serves as point person to Plant Services for services related to spaces used by SEAS faculty, staff, and students.
  • Maintains SEAS Organizational Chart.
  • Manages miscellaneous department projects like office moves, annual lab safety audits, and so forth.
  • Manages communication with the Provost, deans, administration, other University offices, and the public.
  • Provides executive level administrative support including external and internal communication.
  • Work with the SEAS units to develop meeting agendas including keeping minutes, reports, and action items.
  • Serves as SEAS liaison to the Provost, deans, administration, SEAS Executive Council, plant services, and others.
  • Coordinates preparation and communication of major meetings, conferences, and seminars for the SEAS units.
  • Assists the dean, and others as directed, in writing strategic plans, speeches, reports, correspondence, and so forth.
  • Supervise Dean’s Office student employees.
  • Co-supervise Web and Social Media Specialist with the Dean and Assistant/Associate Deans on items related to communication in digital or related formats.
  • Co-supervise Program Assistant with Budget & Personnel Officer on items related to budget, travel expenses, and related items.
  • Meets regularly, at least once a month, with all direct reports.
  • Manages performance on an ongoing basis throughout the year.
  • Ensures all staff are effectively on-boarded to their role.
  • Builds relationships and demonstrate a bias for collaboration.
  • Addresses and resolve conflicts.
  • Plans, coordinates, and manages all aspects of SEAS faculty and staff events including SEAS social events throughout the year that promote team building and teamwork.
  • Work with leadership to develop meeting agendas, including keeping minutes, expense reports, and action items from all events.
  • Coordinate and manage the logistics of the CEDE major events
