CALLOUTS to Karen --kcovelli@pearsonpkg.com

In this position you will be required to perform assembly tasks on a variety of machines. You will work under general supervision while learning the assembly processes.  You could be climbing under the machines to assemble the machinery or stand on ladders and work over head.  You'll need to be very mechanically inclined. An ability to read blueprints is a plus but not essential.  This is not "widget" building, you will be putting together the machines from the frame up - similar to building a car.  You'll assemble machinery to meet the customers' specifications and maintain productivity logs on all assigned projects. Safety is big to Pearson Packaging, so you'll need to maintain the work area in a safe and orderly fashion. You'll perform other related duties as assigned.  To help processes and procedures stick, they may train you on specific systems, meaning you'd be working on the same process for a while until it really stuck. They will be doing all phases of the machine mechanical and pneumatic processes.
