Will do a Zoom interview with the Dept Mgr. Candidates must have Background and TB test completed before starting, KH will do the Drug Test on the EE's first day. NOTE: Non Smokers only **EE's MUST PROVIDE OWN SCRUBS.
Pre-Employment Checks: Drug test on site, BG and TB prior to starting. Must complete Independent Contractor Packet. (In client folder) *SEND TB results to HR, along with the completed packet. Flu shot during flu season only. (TB test to be scheduled at Urgent Care)
Skills Required:
- Previous hospital/industrial housekeeping experience desired
- Able to do the physical aspects of the job
- Walk 100%
- Lift 20 to 50 lbs/65% of the time
- Reach At/Above and Shoulder Height
- Chemicals - Work environment involves exposure to potentially dangerous materials and situations that require following extensive safety precautions and may include the use of protective equipment.
Top 3 Qualifiers:
1. Custodial experience preferred, but not required. Ability to operate steam-cleaning equipment (desired)
2. Ability to write clearly and legibly on all reports, time sheets, forms and other written communication used within the department. Ability to understand and carry out written and verbal instructions. Work independently, team player

Average Day:
Will be doing basic and thorough cleaning, dusting, mopping, emptying trash etc of the hospital. Not too physically demanding, but very busy. Not requiring experience, just someone who wants to learn a new trade. Client will train the right person.
Summary of Duties:
Works to ensure offices, patient/guest rooms, and other specified areas are kept in a clean and orderly condition. This position will deal mainly with basic Housekeeping duties consisting of; vacuuming, dusting, emptying trash receptacles, mopping and dusting. Provides cleaning of entrances, lobbies, elevators, stairwells, and corridors. Provides special cleaning of Obstetrics, Oncology, and Surgery Departments following established procedures .Transports waste, and will operate the trash compactor. Transports and disposes of bio-hazard waste. Will also be required to clean and set up Kootenai meeting rooms.
